GastroMend-HP™ is a formulated blend of complementary
botanical extracts and nutrients to support a healthy
microbial balance within the upper gastrointestinal (GI)
tract and to help maintain gastric mucosal health.
This unique formula combines vitamin C, zinc L-carnosine,
mastic gum, methylmethionine chloride (MMS), and
deglycyrrhizinated licorice (DGL) extract.
GastroMend-HP™ may be helpful in attenuating
occasional bloating, heartburn, or stomach discomfort.
The stomach lining contains a thick mucus layer that
protects it from the harsh gastric acidity necessary for
digestion and for killing unwanted organisms. Supporting
the health of the mucosal layer is important for
maintaining stomach comfort and microbial balance.
Mastic gum has a long history of use in the Mediterranean
where it was chewed as gum. Mastic gum helps to relieve 
occasional stomach discomfort and promotes microbial
balance. Methylmethionine sulfonium (MMS) is found
abundantly in red cabbage and is a derivative of the
amino acid methionine. MMS may support mucosal health
throughout the digestive tract.
DGL is a well-researched botanical for supporting the
normal repair and maintenance of a healthy mucosal lining
throughout the GI tract. It serves to coat and soothe the
intestinal lining and may help neutralize the effects of
oxidative stress. The DGL in this formula features
GutGard®, a patented form of highly concentrated,
flavonoid-rich licorice extract to promote its potency and
effectiveness. Zinc L-carnosine may help maintain a
healthy microbial balance and offers further support for
the mucosal lining. Vitamin C is known for helping support
normal tissue regeneration and its antioxidant properties.

Recommended Dose
Adults: Take 2 capsules twice a day before a meal, or as
directed by your health care practitioner. Take a few
hours before or after taking other medications. For use
