LOPERAMIDE CPLT 2MG 12 TEVA TABLET

Teva-Loperimide 2mg is a a generic brand of Loperamide 2mg,. It is an oral anti-diarrheal agent that comes in tablet form.

Dosage for Adults and Children Age 12+:

• Take 2 tablets initially followed by 1 tablet after each loose bowel movement. Take up to to a maximum of 8 tablets per day.
  
• Drink plenty of caffeine free, clear fluids.
• Not recommended for chidlren under 12 years of age, except on the advice of a physician.

Warnings:

• While diarrhea is not normally a serious condition, the patient should contact their doctor immediately, if it is associated with high fever or if blood is present in stools.
• If diarrhea does not resolve in 48 hours, patient should discontinue the medication and consult their physician.
• Do not exceed the recommended dose. In case of accidental overdose, consult physician immediate or contact your Poison Control Centre.
• Teva-Loperamide should not be used in pregnant or nursing women, except on advice of a physician.
