Transform your dishes with our textured vegetable protein from Moulin Abénakis . Made from a concentrate of pea and faba protein, it is dried and then crushed into pieces of varying sizes for an unparalleled texture. With a neutral flavor reminiscent of tofu, from which it is derived, it is the ultimate versatile ingredient. Incorporate it into your salads, stir-fries, baked dishes, or even your soups and sauces.
Before cooking, it is recommended to rehydrate the textured vegetable protein from Moulin Abénakis (PVT) to restore its soft texture.

Rehydration :
Place the desired amount of TVP in a bowl and cover it with warm liquid (water, broth, or homemade marinade).
➤ Suggested ratio : 1 part TVP to 2 parts warm liquid
➤ Soaking time : Let it soak for approximately 10 to 15 minutes , then drain and gently squeeze out excess liquid. -
Cooking :
Once rehydrated, TVP can be:- Stir-fried with vegetables and spices
- Incorporated into a tomato sauce to imitate a vegetarian Bolognese sauce
- Mixed with legumes to form patties, balls or tacos

Added to soups and stews to enrich with protein and texture
Good to know : Abénakis Mill TVP absorbs aromas – take advantage of this to season it during rehydration (broth, tamari, spices, etc.).
