- 100mg of 5-HTP as a therapeutic amino acid to support the production of serotonin and melatonin

- 10mg of pyridoxal-5-phosphate (P-5-P), the biologically active form of vitamin B6, added for the efficient conversion of 5-HTP into serotonin and the production of other neurotransmitters

Indications: Helps promote healthy mood balance. Used as a sleep aid.
Directions for Use:
Adults (19 years and older) - For Healthy Mood Balance: Take 1 capsule, 1-3 times per day with food. Use for a minimum of 1 week to see beneficial effects. Ask a healthcare professional for use beyond 1 year. As a Sleep Aid: Take 1-2 capsules with food, 30-45 minutes before bedtime.
Cautions:
Do not use if • you have scleroderma. Sleep Aid: Ask healthcare professional if • sleeplessness persists for more than 3 weeks. All users: Ask a healthcare professional if • symptoms persist or worsen. Ask a healthcare professional prior to use if • you are pregnant • you are breastfeeding • you are taking carbidopa. Ask a healthcare professional prior to use if • you are taking drugs/supplements with serotonergic activity. These may include S-adenosylmethionine (SAMe), St.John’s Wort, antidepressants, pain killers, over the counter cough/cold medication containing dextromethorphan, anti-nausea or anti-migraine medication. Stop use and ask healthcare professional if • you show signs of weakness • you have oral ulcers • you have abdominal pain accompanied by severe muscle pain • you experience skin changes. When taking this product • some people may experience drowsiness • exercise caution if operating heavy machinery, driving a motor vehicle or involved in activities requiring mental alertness • some people may experience, nausea, diarrhea, vomiting, abdominal pain. Keep out of reach of children.
