For optimal brewing that will bring out the intensity and aromas of your strong espresso, opt for a medium grind, slightly finer than for a classic filter coffee. Use approximately 2 tablespoons (10 g) of ground coffee per 180 ml of fresh water.

The water temperature is crucial: aim for water just below boiling point (around 93°C). Pour the hot water gently and evenly over the ground coffee in the filter. Let the water flow through slowly and steadily, without rushing.
