UT Intensive™ Chewables are designed to help
maintain optimal urinary tract health and function.
This formula contains 500 mg of whole fruit cranberry
extract and 2 g of D-mannose to help prevent urinary
tract infections.
UT Intensive™ Chewables are tasty, orange-flavoured,
chewable tablets that do not contain artificial
sweeteners or colourings. Cranberry (Vaccinium
macrocarpon) is one of the most widely studied and
traditional remedies for supporting urinary tract health.
Unlike cranberry juice or individually isolated cranberry
products, the cranberry extract in the UT Intensive™
Chewables is made from the whole fruit (juice, skin,
flesh, and seeds). It contains the full complement of
phytochemicals and health-promoting constituents
shown to promote healthy urinary tract function. The
whole fruit cranberry extract in one serving of UT
Intensive™ Chewables can be compared to
approximately 1.5 cups of fresh/frozen cranberries, 1
oz. of sweetened dried cranberries, or 10 oz. of 27%
cranberry juice cocktail.
D-mannose is a type of sugar found in fruits and
vegetables such as cranberries, apples, grapes,
currants, and blueberries. D-mannose is structurally
similar to certain receptors in the urinary tract and
may help promote a healthy microbial environment in
the urinary tract. Although D-mannose is a sugar, it is
eliminated intact from the body and is not
metabolized. Thus, D-mannose does not interfere
with blood sugar regulation.

Recommended Dose
