Non-medicinal ingredients
Vegetable cellulose, vegetable stearic acid.
Recommended use or purpose
Provides antioxidants for the maintenance of good health. Helps to support/promote healthy estrogen metabolism/balance.
Recommended dose
Adults: Take 1 capsule daily with meals. Take a few hours before or after taking other medications.
Recommended duration of use
Consult a health care practitioner for use beyond 12 weeks. Contra-Indications: Do not use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding Discontinue use if you experience joint pain or hot flashes. If you develop liver-related symptoms (e.g. yellowing of the eyes and/or skin, dark urine, abdominal pain, jaundice) or symptoms of low estrogen, discontinue use and consult a health care practitioner.
Warnings
Consult a healthcare practioner prior to use if you are attempting to conceive, if you have or are predisposed to cancer, if you have gallstones or a bile duct obstruction, if you have stomach ulcers or excess stomach acid, if you have an iron deficiency, if you are taking any medications or natural health products, if you have a liver disorder or symptoms of low estrogen (such as joint pain, mood changes, changes in libido, hot flashes, right sweats, vaginal dryness or irregular menstruations). To exclude the diagnosis of a serious cause of hormonal imbalance, consult a health care practitioner prior to use. Stop use if you develop symptoms of liver trouble such as yellowing of the skin/eyes (jaundice), stomach pain, dark urine, sweating, nausea, unusual tiredness and/or loss of appetite and consult a healthcare practitioner. Rare unpredictable cases of liver injury associated with green tea extract-containg products have been reported (in Canada and Internationally).
Store in a cool and dry area. Do not use if the seal is broken or missing.
