AOR’s BioFolate delivers L-5-methyltetrahydrofolate (L-5-MTHF), a methylated form of folate that the body can readily use. Folate, or vitamin B9, is essential for red blood cell formation, protein metabolism, and healthy gene expression. Since the body can’t produce folate on its own, it must be obtained through diet or supplements. L-5-MTHF is especially beneficial for individuals with the MTHFR genetic variation.
