Organic family EDEN Cannellini or White Kidney Beans are soaked overnight, and pressure cooked with no chemical additives at Eden Foods’ cannery in Indiana. They are similar to Great Northern Beans but have thicker, more durable skin. White Kidney beans are native to Argentina and popular in Italy as ‘Italian’ kidney. White beans and their mild taste are a staple of Mediterranean cuisine. They are marinated for salads, used in soup, stew, with pasta, and are the traditional bean of minestrone soup. Cannellini beans are a Tuscan delicacy on bread or crostini when sautéed with EDEN Extra Virgin Olive Oil and sage. No salt added EDEN beans in BPA, BPS, and phthalate free cans since 1999.
