Renal-Gen from Genestra is a part of their liquid herbal formula line called Phyto-Gen. Consisting of a herbal blend of Juniper (Juniperus communis) Young Shoot Extract, Elm (Ulmus campestris) Bud Extract and Corn (Zea mays) Root Bark Extract. Most commonly used to treat a bladder infection, Juniper can also be found helpful for many other conditions including indigestion, swelling, gout and prostate disorders. Phytoembryotherapy is a branch of phytotherapy that specifically incorporates plant embryological tissues (buds, young shoots, etc.) containing plant meristem cells, undifferentiated, fast dividing cells which contain the plants genetic blueprint and material. These embryonic tissues are rich in beneficial phyto-chemicals including: growth factors and plant hormones, enzymes, nucleic acids, oligoelements, and phytonutrients such as polyphenols and flavonoids.
