Wholesome Organic Fair Trade Raw Cane Turbinado Sugar is sustainably grown and harvested at farms in South America adhering to organic standards. It is minimally processed, created by crushing freshly-cut organic sugarcane and squeezing out the cane juice. In order to produce the large sparkling crystals, the juice is evaporated and spun in a cylinder or turbine, hence the name.
