PEKANA is a medium-sized family firm in Kißlegg, run by the co-founder Katharina Beyersdorff and her son Dr. Marius Beyersdorff. Katharina and Dr. Peter Beyersdorff set up PEKANA Naturheilmittel GmbH in 1980. As manufacturers of homeopathic-spagyric remedies, we feel equally obliged to traditional European medicine and modern quality standards.

Since our creation we have produced homeopathic-spagyric complexes that are now in demand all over the world. The composition of each individual remedy is tailored to the requirements of diseases that are usually triggered by several factors. The special feature of our remedies is the spagyric manufacturing process developed by Dr. Peter Beyersdorff. It follows the understanding of the treatment method which involves retaining all the vital energy of medicinal plants. This creates the foundation for a homeopathic-spagyric treatment concept which can be applied holistically. All PEKANA remedies are produced in Kißlegg according to the latest quality standards and subject to strict pharmaceutical quality control.

PEKANA spagyrics were included in Germany’s first official homeopathic pharmacopoeia in 1991, and in 1995 they were awarded the innovation prize of the Federal State of Baden-Württemberg in recognition of outstanding achievement. PEKANA has held the Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) certificate, which demonstrates globally recognised quality assurance, since 2000. An inspection was conducted by the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) in 2008, resulting in a pass. The customs authorities have awarded PEKANA AEO-F certification, and consequently the company has held the status of “authorised economic operator” since 1 January 2012. The AEO-F certificate is an international quality mark.
