By taking both sterols and sterolins, this formula helps balance the cells of the immune system to strengthen an under-active immune system and, at the same time, turn off an overactive immune system. By enhancing only the function of the TH-1 cells and not the TH-2 helper cells, phytosterols/sterolins may provide that crucial balance.

Helper cells are divided into two types, Type TH-1 and Type TH-2. These cells must remain in a delicate balance at all times for the body to remain healthy. TH-1 cells control the TH-2 (Type 2 Helper) cells, which can over stimulate B-cell activity. Too many B-cells (or antibodies) can cause an autoimmune reaction. Uncontrolled over-activity of B-cells is thought to be responsible for debilitating or chronic autoimmune disorders such as: Rheumatoid Arthritis, Lupus, Multiple Sclerosis (MS), Myasthenia Gravis (MG), Asthma, Allergies, Recent research has concentrated on immune system stabilization in AIDS patients.

Phyto-Immun is indicated for the above conditions as well as to help for easing symptoms: Gastric ulcers, High cholesterol, Benign prostate hypertrophy (BPH), Chronic inflammation.

Research suggests that a mixture of sterols and sterolins in a ratio of approximately 80:1 is more effective than either sterol alone. 

Ingredients:

Non Medicinal Ingredients: Hypromellose (vegetarian capsule shell), Brown rice flour, Colloidal silicon dioxide, Microcrystalline cellulose.

Purity: The sterol component of this formula is sourced from non-GMO soy and the sterolin content is derived from pine bark. Contains no preservatives, corn, dairy, gluten, soy, wheat or yeast.

Suggested dose for adults: 1 capsule 3 times daily or as directed by your health care practitioner. Use for a minimum of 2-3 months to see beneficial effects. Store away from children and protected from light/moisture.

Cautions: Do not use if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, have sitoterolemia, diabetes or multiple sclerosis, are taking immunosuppressants, or a recipient of organ/tissue transplant.
